Patient Participation Group

We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive the Practice and our staff.

Students: Would like to have a say about services provided at Gower Street Practice?

We have a group of patients who meet with us for about an hour on a Thursday lunchtime four times a year and make suggestions to help us enhance the service we provide. We are keen to recruit student representatives to balance the demographics of the group. You would be welcome to join, even if you may be able to attend for only a couple of meetings. You can leave your name and contact details with reception for the attention of Marcia Menichetti, Practice Manager, or by email to [email protected].

Please be aware that places in the group are limited; however, if you are unable to join, you are still welcome to suggest topics for discussion in the group by contacting the Practice Manager. The outcome of every meeting will be displayed on the Patient Information Board in the waiting room at the practice

Please note: You must be a patient or carer of a registered patient at Gower Street Practice to join our PPG.

The Patient Participation Group meets quarterly.

Aims:

  • To foster effective communication between the practice and its registered patients
  • To encourage patient engagement in the development of the practice

The outcome of every meeting will be displayed on the patient information board and on this website.

Alternatively, please leave your name and contact details with reception for the attention of Marcia Menichetti, Practice Manager. In particular we are currently interested in welcoming a student representative to the group.

Please be aware that places in the group are limited, however if you are unable to join you are still welcome to suggest topics for discussion in the group.

Please note that the PPG cannot become involved in matters of a specifically medical or clinical nature.
